Love for Eternity

Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the House of the Lord forever”.

His Love Now:This scripture is one of the great promises of King David’s writings, that we can enjoy for ourselves for today. It all starts, when Jesus knocks at the door and we let Him into our heart, the Holy Spirit comes and dwells in us when we believe, and is sealed forever. And the Holy Spirit’s work is to walk with us through our life; He is our earthly Guide! He gives us His fruits of love, joy, peace, goodness, and mercy – these are all part of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling in us, in our new life in Jesus.

It all started with Adam and Eve in the Garden where there was a Tree of Good and Evil. The idea of that was they had a choice there between Good and Evil, to try and to be good with self-efforts, and to fight off evil, by trying to be “good” which we cannot do! OR take God’s way, which is a Redeemer and Savior, His son Jesus. Because Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; nobody comes to the Father except through me!!” Now back to Adam & Eve’s failure in the garden – that was handed down to us through their seed (it is called the Original Sin in many religions of today). So the only way out of that, is to accept the Savior, the Redeemer Jesus, the one who pays the debt for us to get back into God’s presence! That is what He did for us at the cross, where He shed His blood upon death, which washes all of our sins, past, present and future, if we believe on Him!! We don’t have to do anything! It is DONE, when we believe it. Jesus says, “I and the Father are One. Just believe me!” That is a good deal!!

His Love Eternal: The second part of scripture promise from Psalm 23:6 above says “AND I shall dwell in the House of the Lord FOREVER!!” It is a continuation of our life on earth!! The old hymn says: “and I shall feast at the table set for me!!!!!!” We see all our friends and family and loved ones, feasting together in the Love of God forever!!!

“Christ in me, the Hope of Glory.” Colossians 1:27

God bless you, just believe it.

God loves you very much, and we love you!
